Comprehension Cards - set of 36 or 48 cards

These packs of cards are organised into sets of contrasting pictures which can be used to encourage careful listening (illustration below) They can also be used to elicit particular types of sentences. The materials come with instructions for playing games which cover comprehension and expressive skills in activities which most children find enjoyable.
