Supplementary Picture Test Book

The Supplementary Picture Test was developed as an alternative parallel test to the original Picture Test.

The original Picture Test, which is provided as part of the basic Scheme, is often overused allowing the children to learn the test. The results of the test may therefore be out of line with children's normal functioning.

The Supplementary Picture Test covers similar objectives to the original test but uses different illustrations and different order of presentation.

This allows a therapist to monitor progress without worrying about the child having been 'taught the test'. It also has a wider range of action pictures than the original test and some pictures at the upper and to elicit linked narratives.
